Main features of Critical Skills Visa :
- • The candidate must have professional experience in an occupation or profession listed on CSL (Critical Skills List) of the country. This lists out professions required to be filled in /vacancies.
- • Candidate or visa holder does not require the offer of employment or job offer to obtain this visa.
- • Candidate is generally required to have work experience in that particular field for 5 years minimum.
- • Candidate also has to prove enough finances for living expenses at least until job offer.
- • The visa is generally issued and stays for a period of 5 (five) years time.
- • The visa holder must successful get a job offer within a period of 12 months/ one year.
- • The visa holder can apply for South African Permanent Residency upon successful stay.
- • Other requirements for the visa include health check-ups and police clearance, applicable vaccination certificates, and a cash deposit as much the employer agreement value.
